Hardware Requirements¶
PowerDeck runs on hardware you own — it is not a cloud service. The software runs inside containers on a small, always-on computer at your premises.
Supported hardware¶

What else you need¶
- A supported data source. PowerDeck reads solar and battery data via Solar Assistant or direct integrations, and controls smart devices via Tuya-compatible hardware. Check the community for the current supported device list.
- Wired or reliable Wi-Fi for the PowerDeck host on your home network.
- Internet access for licence activation, updates, and remote features. Everything continues to work locally if the connection drops.
Pre-installed appliances¶
If you'd rather not source hardware yourself, installers can supply a pre-configured PowerDeck appliance — plug it in, enter your activation code, and it's running.
